Andrés Locsey is an Emmy and MPSE Golden Reel award-winning music editor for feature films, documentaries, live-action television, and animation in Los Angeles, CA. Highlights of his work include the Emmy award-winning feature film Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Emmy award-nominated documentary Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!, the hit Netflix show Cobra Kai, and the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards-winning, and MPSE Golden Reel award-nominated show Maya and the Three.

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Andrés received his degree in Music Production & Engineering in 2013 from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Shortly after moving to L.A., Andrés had the opportunity to work with the team at Igloo Music Studios on the Academy Award-winning feature film Birdman. He honed his Pro Tools chops as a composer’s assistant, prepping and editing over 200 orchestral scores before immersing himself in music post-production. 

Andrés is a Motion Picture Editors Guild, IATSE Local 700 Member, and a bonsai enthusiast.
